What is the legal notice period?
Under Article 144 of the UAE Civil Procedure Code, the creditor must first serve the debtor with a payment notice allowing at least five (5) days before seeking a payment order. Eligibility and document requirements must be confirmed for the specific debt.
Is a legal notice necessary?
Yes. Article 144 requires proof that a payment notice was served before a payment-order petition is filed. The notice must identify the right claimed, and the petition must not claim more than the amount stated in the notice.
What does the legal notice service include?
The service can include notice drafting, Arabic–English legal translation, customer review and confirmation, registration coordination, attestation follow-up and standard notice delivery, subject to the confirmed scope and applicable requirements.
Will I review the notice before submission?
Yes. You will be asked to review and confirm the notice details before submission or registration.
What documents should I prepare?
Please prepare the tenancy contract or Ejari record, deposit payment evidence, move-in and move-out records, photographs, key-handover evidence, deductions or invoices, correspondence and the amount claimed.
What happens after the notice is delivered?
You receive the available delivery or status information. If the deposit remains disputed or unpaid, any RDC claim or other proceeding is a separate service and requires a new assessment.
Does RentFlow guarantee acceptance or an outcome?
No. Authority or third-party acceptance, payment, compliance and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Are the requirements the same in every matter?
No. They depend on the facts, documents, the notice ground and the governing requirements.
Will I receive a confirmed scope before work begins?
Yes. The available information is reviewed so the requested support and quotation can be confirmed.
