Questions, answered
Find clear answers about the service, preparation and next steps.
What is the legal notice period?
Under Article 25 of Dubai Law No. 26 of 2007, as replaced by Law No. 33 of 2008, the landlord must notify the tenant of the eviction reason at least twelve (12) months before the date of eviction. The notice must be served through a Notary Public or by registered mail.
Is a legal notice necessary?
Yes. Where eviction is sought for this reason, Article 25(2) requires the landlord to notify the tenant of the eviction reason and comply with the twelve-month notice and prescribed service method.
What does the legal notice service include?
The service can include notice drafting, Arabic–English legal translation, customer review and confirmation, Dubai Courts registration, standard court fees, attestation follow-up and standard notice delivery, subject to the confirmed scope and applicable requirements.
Will I review the notice before submission?
Yes. You will be asked to review and confirm the notice details before submission or registration.
What documents should I prepare?
Please prepare the tenancy contract or Ejari record, available identification and ownership or authority documents, relevant correspondence, payment records where applicable, and any evidence supporting the notice reason. Additional documents may be requested after review.
What happens after the notice is delivered?
You receive the available delivery or status information within the confirmed scope. Any response, dispute, enforcement step or court proceeding is separate and will be assessed before further work begins.
Does RentFlow guarantee acceptance or an outcome?
No. Authority or third-party acceptance and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Are the requirements the same in every matter?
No. They depend on the facts, documents, the applicable eviction ground and the governing legal requirements.
Will I receive a confirmed scope before work begins?
Yes. The available information is reviewed so the requested support and quotation can be confirmed.
